Install win xp home..
I got XP for the new 1.1 gighrz machine with a full install copy and I have tried three days to get this program to install. I might think it was me--- except I have a restore copy for my other computer and it works just fine on the new machine. XP won't load, won't run, never starts the same way twice.

Yeah, it's better than junk hardware, but that does him no good if he can't make it work. I won't mention the wireless switch install that took me a week to decode the install and setup instructions. Anyway, I kinda prefer middle of the road hardware. It's not because they're better in any way.

Seems installing Autodesk Inventor Series (AIS) with Windows XP SP2 either won't allow our just released R9 SP1 to install at all, or there is a stall involved. I experienced another stall with the AIS Mechanical Desktop part of the install on my system, so now I'm back to wonder'n what the real issue is.
